Position:
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice at Towson University invites applications for a full-time lecturer, with a 4/4 teaching load, beginning fall 2014.

Qualifications:
The contract is annual and renewable. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to working with a diverse student population. The candidate will be required to teach both lower and upper-level undergraduate criminal justice courses, and a focus on Criminal Justice systems or policy (which may include comparative systems/policies, victims, drugs, and/or re-entry) is desired. A graduate degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice or Sociology is required - at minimum, a Master’s degree, but an ABD or PhD is preferred. This position would contribute both to our course offerings on Towson’s main campus, as well as at the Northeastern Maryland Higher Education Center in Harford County.
