Position:
The Department of Political Science at Towson University invites applications for a Tenure Track position at the Assistant Professor level to teach courses in the area of National Security and International Politics beginning in the fall semester of 2014.

Qualifications:
We are particularly interested in candidates whose teaching and research interests include Intelligence and National Security, and Homeland Security Policy. In addition to contributing to the Department’s curriculum, teaching involves participation in the university’s distance learning Integrated Homeland Security Management M.A. program. Applicants must have a Ph. D. in a relevant field of study at the time of application, and prior, full time teaching experience is preferred. All applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show a strong potential for a productive scholarly program. Interest in pursuing external funding is desirable.
