Position:

The Department of Secondary Education invites applications for a Lecturer in the area of Middle School Education. The successful candidate will be expected to make contributions in teaching courses in Middle School methods and reading. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in Professional Development School partnership efforts to and including the supervision of student teachers at the undergraduate level.

Qualifications:

A masters’ degree or greater in Middle School or Secondary Education and successful experiences as a middle school teacher, reading specialist, and/or administrator in the public schools is essential. Applicants must have excellent human relations and interaction skills with great enthusiasm for working with university students, faculty colleagues, as well as teachers, specialists, and administrators in the schools.
