The Human Resource Development MS degree program in the Psychology Department at Towson University invites qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in Human Resource Development, beginning August 2014 and contingent on funding.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and show potential for a productive research program in the fields and sub-disciplines of human resources management and development. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate degree in human resource management
or development, industrial or organizational psychology, or a closely related discipline. It is preferred that applicants have experience teaching at the University level as well as a history of professional work experience.

Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching an introductory graduate course in human resources management along with advanced courses in some combination of the following areas: compensation and benefits; staffing, recruiting and selection; training and development; human resource information systems; and/or employee relations. This position will also be responsible for student advising as well as participation on departmental or university committees.
