The Psychology Department at Towson University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position in Research Design and Analysis, beginning August 2014, and contingent upon funding.
Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and for developing a productive research program. A doctorate in Psychology is required.
The successful candidate primarily will be responsible for teaching courses in quantitative methods, such as undergraduate statistics and research methods as well as graduate courses in research design and multivariate statistics, primarily in the Master's program in Experimental Psychology. There will also be occasional opportunities for developing specialty courses in one's area of expertise. Area of research interest is open, but research in the areas of law/forensics, neuropsychology, applied behavior analysis, or gender is desirable. Student advising and participation in Department, College and University committees is also expected.
