Lisa is the current Director of New Student Programs at Towson. In this role she provides leadership, direction, and oversight for programs, events and initiatives involving new students and their families. As Director, Lisa serves on the Student Affairs Leadership Team and on the Student Affairs Council. Lisa also has significant experience in the National Orientation Director's Association (NODA), having served as a conference host, chaired several planning committees, and presented numerous times.
Prior to joining Towson in February 2010, Lisa worked at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where she created and implemented a summer bridge program for incoming first-year students. Lisa also worked for several years in orientation and retention programs at Radford University. Lisa holds a graduate degree in Counselor Education - Student Affairs from Clemson University, where she also worked in Housing and Residence Life. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology and sociology at Randolph Macon College, a small-liberal arts institution outside of Richmond, VA.
J.P. Javier-Wong Coordinator of New Student Programs
JP is the current Coordinator of New Student Programs at Towson. While working closely with Lisa Reagle, the Director of New Student Programs, on all department initiatives, JP is primarily responsible for student programming, new staff recruitment, selection, training, anmd supervision. He also conducts department marketing and is responsible web development.
JP came to Towson in August 2009 after completing a Master of Education degree in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia (UGA). During his graduate studies, JP held a NODA internship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as an assistantship in assessment and a practicum in staff training and development. Prior to attending UGA, JP worked in graduate admissions at George Mason University. JP completed his undergraduate education at James Madison University, graduating in 2003 with a B.BA. in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Katie is a Coordinator of New Student Programs at Towson. She collaborates with Lisa, JP, and Kathy to develop and implement new programs ensuring students have a successful transition into Towson University. She is responsible for executing the Transfer Orientation Program, and assessing and evaluating departmental programs. Additionally, Katie serves as the primary resource and advisor for our Freshmen Transition Program (FTP) students. Under her lead, the FTP recently launched a Peer Mentoring Program serving over 100 students.
Before joining the NSP team Katie was a high school educator. She holds a graduate degree in Education from The Johns Hopkins University where she focused on administration and community partnerships. During her undergraduate time at Michigan State University, Katie enjoyed working for Student Affairs and had a passion to return to the collegiate setting. She continues to carry out her passion for supporting students in their educational paths.
Kathy Mosier Administrative Assistant, New Student Programs
Kathy is originally from Troy, Ohio where she graduated from Troy High School. She and her family currently reside in Bel Air, Maryland. She has been with Towson University since 2008 and with New Student Programs since June 2011.

Brittany Godin
Graduate Assistant
Brittany is the graduate assistant in New Student Programs at Towson, and she’s currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Towson’s graduate school. Prior to starting at Towson in August 2011, Brittany completed her undergraduate studies in English Linguistics and History from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Welcome to Towson Fall 2011 will be Brittany’s first experience on the planning side of undergraduate orientation programs, and she looks forward to meeting everyone and experiencing what Towson has to offer.
