Towson University a National Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAEIAE) continues its mission of serving as Maryland’s Metropolitan University and its commitment to being a leader in Information Assurance (IA) education and research. These efforts should serve as an affirmation of our pledge to expand IA educational opportunities to citizens in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond. TU's Center for Applied Information Technology (CAIT) and the Department of Computer & Information Sciences (COSC) are the host for our Information Assurance Program and curriculum.

MAISA

MAISA's objective is to strengthen IT security assurance programs in Maryland Community Colleges, Technical Schools and Universities, and to support Maryland’s efforts to develop Homeland Security initiatives.
