Location
CGIS is located in Suite 260 in the Terrace Dale complex at 7801 York Road, directly across York Road from the 7800 Building.
Visitor Parking
The University provides designated visitor lots in various locations throughout the campus. Visitors to the CGIS office can park in the Terrace Dale lot, with a temporary parking permit.
Visitors who are attending meetings, training courses, or other pre-arranged events at CGIS are entitled to free parking, which will be arranged by CGIS staff and communicated to visitors ahead of time. Visitors can also verify their parking arrangements by calling 410-704-3887 and speaking with the Administrative Assistant.
Alternate visitor parking is available in the Administration Building front lot, or the Glen Drive street area near Stephens Hall (Lot 2).
Visitors who have not been issued a temporary parking permit code are required to pay to park in the University’s designated visitor parking areas.
Please note that non-permitted vehicles are subject to towing by Towson University police.
GIS Training Location and Parking
GIS training classes hosted by CGIS are held at training sites on the Towson University campus.. CGIS provides free visitor parking to course enrollees. The location and parking information will be communicated in a confirmation letter after registration is processed.
Driving Directions
From I-95 (northbound and southbound):
Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 west (toward Towson). Take exit 25, Charles Street, south. Proceed approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard and proceed to the first stoplight. Turn right onto Osler Drive then turn left onto Cross Campus Drive. Cross York Road onto Terrace Dale then turn left into the parking lot. CGIS is located in the back of Building 1.
From I-83 (northbound and southbound):
Take the Baltimore Beltway I-695 east (toward Towson). Take exit 25, Charles Street, south. Proceed approximately 1.7 miles. Turn left on Towsontown Boulevard and proceed to the first stoplight. From Baltimore (Penn Station):
Proceed north on Charles Street for five miles. Turn right on Towsontown Boulevard and proceed to the first stoplight. Turn right onto Osler Drive then turn left onto Cross Campus Drive. Cross York Road onto Terrace Dale then turn left into the parking lot. CGIS is located in the back of Building 1.
