Enterprise GIS Solutions

An enterprise GIS is an integrated system of interoperable components combined to provide cost effective, comprehensive, and optimal use of GIS technology and geospatial data. CGIS helps organizations establish an enterprise GIS or expand their current GIS capabilities. Currently, CGIS is involved in several initiatives for Maryland agencies. • CGIS architected and hosts the infrastructure for MD iMap, the State’s vision for shared, accessible data and mapping tools.
• CGIS is helping the Maryland Aviation Administration Office of Engineering and Construction Management establish an Airport Engineering Information System.
• CGIS is implementing a GIS for Maryland Transit Administration
