Enterprise GIS Solutions

An enterprise GIS is an integrated system of interoperable components combined to provide cost effective, comprehensive, and optimal use of GIS technology and geospatial data. CGIS helps organizations establish an enterprise GIS or expand their current GIS capabilities. Currently, CGIS is involved in several initiatives for Maryland agencies.

• CGIS plays a key role in coordinating Maryland’s Spatial Data Infrastructure.
• CGIS is helping the Maryland Aviation Administration Office of Engineering and Construction Management establish an Airport Engineering Information System.
• CGIS is performing a GIS Needs Assessment for Maryland Transit Administration
• CGIS completed a GIS Needs Assessment
  for the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland.
