Conditional Tenses - Exercise 1

Directions:  In the blank below each sentence, write the correct form of the verb in parenthesis.  You may add the auxiliary verbs will, would, have and had as needed.  When you are finished, click  the "Check My Work" button at the bottom of the page to check your answers.

1. If I had the proper tools, I (repair) this toaster.
    

2. That cat (scratch) you if you pick her up.
    

3.  If Tom has enough time, he (visit) your sister tomorrow.
    

4.  You (see) flowers within a month if you plant these seeds.
    

5.  If we had gotten rain, the garden (look) good by now.
    

6.  If you wash the dishes, I (dry) them later.
    

7.  If Martin had remembered his passport, he (be) out of customs by now.
    

8.  The garden would have looked better if we (get) rain earlier this week.
    

9.  I would have bought you a present if you (give) me some money.
