Conditional Tenses - Exercise 12

Directions:  In the blank below each sentence, write the correct form of the verb in parenthesis.  You may add auxiliary verbs  will, would, have and hadas needed.  When you are finished, click  the "Check My Work" button at the bottom of the page to check your answers.

1. If Jill had finished school, she (find) a better job.
    

2. They would have cheered for us if they (be) here.
    

3.  Bill (cook) a good meal last night if he had had the right ingredients.
    

4.  If Max came to class on time each day, he (get) higher scores on tests.
    

5.  If I have time, I (call) you tomorrow.
    

6.  Margaret usually cries if she (feel) upset.
    

7.  Jim (need) a translator if he traveled to Spain.
    

8.  They would have been more comfortable now if they (remodel) their house.
