Conditional Tenses - Exercise 8

Directions:  In the blank below each sentence, write the correct form of the verb in parenthesis.  You may add auxiliary verbs  will, would, have and had as needed.  When you are finished, click  the "Check My Work" button at the bottom of the page to check your answers.

1. If you stood on the corner, you (see) the parade.
    

2. If the ducks came here more often, we (feed) them.
    

3.  She will wear the green skirt if it (fit) her.
    

4.  If Joan had been there, she (tell) you.
    

5.  You (enjoy) that book if you had read it.
    

6.  If Madeleine were more courageous, we (feel) safer.
    

7.  Sean (help) if he had been here.
    

8.  The team would have won the game if Jones (play).
    

9.  If the telephone rang, Daisy (answer) it immediately.
