The Towson University
Philosophy Forum is a student-run SGA supported group that gathers for
the purpose of discussing various philosophical issues. This page
contains information concerning the events of the Towson University
Philosophy & Religious Studies Department as well as a schedule of events for the Philosophy

The Philosophy Forum meets
every Tuesday at 5:00 pm in LA 2316. Each Forum
usually runs between 1-2 hours. All are welcome to attend.
The Religious Studies Forum meets every Wednesday at 5:00 pm in LA 2211. Each Forum usually runs between 1-2 hours. All are welcome to attend.

Ongoing - A Call For
Papers For "Philosophical Ideas"
"Philosophical
Ideas" is the Undergraduate Journal of Towson University. The
Journal features the work of Towson University Undergraduate
students. We are accepting submissions for our fourth edition,
due out (date TBA). All Submissions should be typed and double
spaced, with a cover page indicating the name of the author and
where he or she may be reached. The papers will be subject to
blind review, so one's name should not appear anywhere else on
the paper. Submissions may be dropped off at the Philosophy
Department, LA Room 4210. The deadline for
submissions is flexible, but please try to have papers ASAP.
