Placement Testing

Schedule a Testing Session

 

IF REQUIRED, YOU MUST COMPLETE PLACEMENT TESTING BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1.  A MESSAGE WILL BE LOCATED ON YOUR TO-DO LIST----"NEED PLACEMENT TESTING." CALL 410-704-2418 TO SCHEDULE AN INDIVIDUAL TESTING SESSION.

 

The math placement testing is Elementary and Intermediate Algebra.  If you are required to complete placement testing in math, please study to refresh your algebra skills before you attend placement testing.

 

Parking Instructions:

Please park in Towsontown Garage. The parking fee during the summer is $2.00 for all day and will end on August 25.  If the parking attendant is not in the booth, please purchase a parking permit by using the pay station box (left side of booth)

Do not park in residential or business areas!  

 

  1. Bring your notification letter or email with you and a photo ID. You will not be allowed to test without a photo ID. If you are testing in math, do not bring a calculator.

  2. Contact Placement Testing (410-704-2418) to schedule an individual appointment. The writing test battery has a maximum time of 60 minutes, and the math and reading test batteries are un-timed. However, most students complete the math or reading battery within 30 minutes.

  3. To obtain directions for the testing location, please visit the link below "Towson University Map."

  4. Read ACCUPLACER Information!  You will be able to prepare for the ONLINE test after you have read how the mathematics, reading or writing placement test is structured.

  5. Do not schedule an on-campus testing session if you desire to test at a remote test location and not Towson University.

THERE ARE NO MORE TESTING SESSION DATES!  PLEASE CONTACT PLACEMENT TESTING AT 410-704-2418 TO SCHEDULE AN INDIVIDUAL  APPOINTMENT. PLACEMENT TESTING MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1.

 

Complete and submit the following form.  After you submit the form, please print the SUBMIT page, record date, time and location of testing session on the page, and bring it with you to your testing session.

Note:  If you cancel a testing session, please reschedule for another testing session that is listed.

You will not receive a confirmation email!  After you submit the form, the next page will display exactly what you entered in the form boxes.  This means you have registered correctly. The submit page will not display the date, time and location of testing session; please record on printout of submit page or notification letter.
