
Nicholas Ziolkowski scholarship
Corporal
Nicholas L. Ziolkowski was killed in action on November 16, 2004,
serving his country with the 2nd Marine Division in the fight
for Fallujah, Iraq. His mother is Tracy Miller, Towson University’s
Director of Retention and the National Student Exchange Program in the
Academic Advising Center and part time English instructor. A memorial
scholarship fund was established in Corporal Ziolkowski’s name.

Preference
will be given to students enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts. In
addition to the above criteria, applicants will be evaluated on the
basis of overall academic performance and their commitment to national
service. Finalists for the scholarship may be interviewed by the
selection committee. The committee may request formal verification of
your national service.
