$2,000
The Political Science Department at Towson
University is pleased to announce that it
will award TWO, $2,000 scholarships to
Political Science or Metropolitan Studies majors concentrating in the
subfields of state and local government.
Students must have junior status (60-89
credits) and an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher. Applicants should submit:
a one or two page resume, a 300 word essay describing why they are
interested in focusing their careers on public service at the state and
local level of government, and a current unofficial TU transcript.

Following a long and distinguished career as
a senior level public administrator in Maryland, Mr. Zaleski currently
serves as the Executive Assistant to the President
of Towson University as
well as an adjunct member of the Political Science faculty.
