When determining the causes for global warming there are a number of factors that can take responsibilty. Some of these factors can be blamed on nature, technology, and neccesity. If we do not make some kind of attempt to slow down the warming process the end result can be detrimental across the world.
The cause of global warming is based
on a process called greenhouse effect. This is a process when greenhouse
gases are released into the atmosphere. When these gases are released into
the atmosphere they act like a blanket trapping infrared heat in the atmosphere,
causing it to heat up. These greenhouse gases that are destroying the atmosphere
are carbon dioxide and methane which occur naturally in the atmosphere.
CFCs is also another contributor which is man made. With the increase
of population and the growing trend of technology occuring in the world,
agricultural and industrial development has also increased. With the growth
of industry we are releasing more carbon dioxide from factories and automobiles.
With agriculture increasing to feed the growing population the release
of methane has also increased from the cows and rice paddies. The increase
of these gases in the last two decades have caused detrimental consequences
to the atmosphere. The last contributor to global warming is deforestation.
When forests are eliminated you destroy an important component that can
combat global warming.
