Towson University invites application tor a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, subject to state
funding, beginning fall, 2014. Preferred teaching and research are in the field of public finance.
The successful applicant is expected to demonstrate quality teaching ability and to develop a research program
appropriate to the field. The normal teaching load is 9 credit hours per semester. Teaching responsibilities
may also include Principles of Economics and Business Statistics.
A PhD in economics is required. ABDs will be considered with a definite degree completion by February 1, 2014.
Salary is competitive.

degrees in Business Administration and Accounting as well
