Position:
The College of Health Professions invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track, 10-month Visiting Instructor/Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Occupational Therapy & Occupational Science Department to begin August 2014.

Qualifications:
Must be eligible for licensure as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland, Master’s Degree (doctorate required for visiting assistant professor rank), three years of full-time clinical practice as an occupational therapist, experience in clinical instruction (e.g., student supervision) and/or academic teaching and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Background for teaching clinical kinesiology is required. Preference given to those applicants with recent mental health and/or children and youth practice experience.

Responsibilities:
Teach clinical kinesiology and one or both of the following: mental health and/or children and youth content, as well as participating in departmental, university and community/professional service. Teaching load is eight courses per academic year.
