Position:
The College of Fine Arts and Communication invites applications for two non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer positions in Communication Studies with the Department of Mass Communication and Communication Studies to begin August 2014.

Qualifications:

Earned M.A. in the field of communication studies, and demonstrated success or potential as a classroom teacher.

Responsibilities:

Teach four courses each semester in the undergraduate program in communication studies. Teach undergraduate courses among: Interpersonal Communication, Organizational Communication, Research Methods, Business and Professional Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Intercultural Communication, and other courses as needed. Service to the department is expected.

The Department:
The Department (www.towson.edu/mccs) offers a major in Communication Studies and a major in Mass Communication with tracks in Journalism and New Media, Advertising, and Strategic Public Relations and Integrated Communication. A master’s degree in communication is offered. The department annually enrolls approximately 1,300 majors served by 28 full-time and 50 part-time faculties.
