The College of Liberal Arts invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer position in the Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice Department to begin August 2014.

A graduate degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Sociology or a closely related field is required. ABD or PhD is preferred. Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and to working with a diverse student population.

Teach both lower and upper-level undergraduate criminal justice courses. This position would contribute both to our course offerings on Towson’s main campus, as well as the Northeastern Maryland Higher Education Center in Harford County. Teaching load is four courses per semester.

Our centrally located campus sits on 330 rolling green acres and is 10 miles north of Baltimore, 45 miles north of Washington D.C., and 95 miles south of Philadelphia.
