Graduate Student Assistantship
Towson University offers a number of assistantships that provide graduate students with professional experiences within their academic programs and other university units. Graduate students receive a stipend and tuition waiver as part of these assistantships.
The Writing Lab
A Help Center is available for graduate students seeking assistance in formal writing and in research design and statistics. It is located in Room 5330 in the Liberal Arts Building, under the supervision of, the Writing Lab director.
Tutors in the Help Center assist students with more formal writing and research design. They do not provide assistance with basic grammar and mathematics. There are other centers on campus that provide these services.

Undergraduate Research
Conducting research as an undergraduate is an
excellent way to prepare for post-graduate
careers and graduate studies. The Office of
Undergraduate Research offers mentoring and
funding opportunities to students interested
in original scholarly activities.
