January Conference 2015

The Division of Academic Affairs will host the annual January Conference for all faculty on January 14, 2015 in the Chesapeake Rooms of the University Union

The theme for the 2015 January Conference is University of One: Connecting Theory to Practice. This conference aims to address various aspects of instructional practices via the application of experiential learning, critical thinking, emerging technologies, and individualized instruction, and other topics relevant to creating a diverse learning environment that will support the digital learner.

The conference will feature session with a keynote speaker, 45-minute presentations by individuals and groups of presenters, a student panel, faculty sharing circles, plus an interactive room in which to explore various types of Towson’s instructional technologies.


Call for Proposals: Deadline October 6, 2014


The Conference Committee seeks proposals that will speak to the diverse instructional skill sets of our faculty at different stages of their professional careers. We hope that you’ll consider sharing your experiences and expertise!
