Curriculum Development and Approval Processes

Curricular development and approval is the purview of faculty at Towson University and is under the auspices of the faculty governance structure.   However, some changes, such as the creations of new programs, substantive curricular changes, etc., require external review and approval prior to the implementation of the program.

The external process is managed by the office of the Provost.   This also includes the development of closed site agreements, articulation agreements and partnerships with domestic and international entities as these agreements related to curriculum.
