We started out with an awesome one-word icebreaker and a game involving music, singing and lots of laughter.
We then had two important announcements about the executive board and the advisor.
Garrott, our treasurer, due to personal reasons will not be able to continue on the board for QSU.
Chris Bell, our advisor, will be leaving after this semester and is heading to Syracuse University to undertake a post-doctorate work. We would also like to congratulate Chris on his recent advancement to PhD candidate status.
Both will be sorely missed.
The involvement fairrrrrrrre is coming up for the spring semester and the theme is centered around pirates and booty! You should go and see what Towson has to offer you as students of the University! You should also sign up to help out the QSU table. Of course we will have the most fabulous table at the fair filled with rainbows, pictures and baked goods. Any help would be greatly appreciated contact the gmail account towsonqsu@gmail.com or Danielle Dwhite5@towson.edu
"What is Queer?" Update
We are still in need of pictures of drag kings and queens, allies, and people who identify as bisexual.
We would like to put quotes on the posters answering the question "What does Queer mean to you?"
We plan to have this all done and ready to be put up by the end of February.
Contact Danielle for more info - Dwhite5@towson.edu
