o 10:15 AM - - Leave Towson University for Annapolis and the State House (TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED)
o 12:00 PM - - Rally/Press Conference with System University's and Chancellor Britt Kirwan
o 1:00 PM - - Committee Hearings with Students Sitting in on them - the earlier we get there the more seats we get.
o 2:00 PM - - Leave Annapolis back to TU in time for any and all Halloween Celebrations!
o Stop by the Center for Student Diversity to see the proof.
o Attached is an application that needs to be filled out and submitted on or before November 28th at 5pm. (That's one month from today!)

o QSU will pay for your airfare, lodging, and the conference registration.
o Someone talked about the Human Rights Day on November 28th. There will be a Privilege Walk, bands, organizations with tables and information, people talking and reading poetry. If you are interested in helping out please contact Stephanie Reed sreed7@towson.edu.
o The Feminist Collective will be holding a Clothing Swap on November 29th more details later.
o ISA got another bus for their NYC trip this Saturday. If you are interested it's $35 and the bus leaves at 6am and returns at midnight. Call 301.992.8291 or email isa@towson.edu for more info.
o Then someone talked about a personal experience where they heard younger "kids saying queer and fagot". This sparked a conversation about words, sayings, and their connotations we talked specifically about the implications of saying or hearing "that's gay".
o The "ouch" "oops" concept has been implemented in QSU from now on. If at any point you saying something and realize that it could offend or hurt someone you say "oops" and take 30 seconds to say why that was an "oops" moment. On the same token, if someone else says something that hurts or offends you, you say "ouch" and take 30 seconds to explain why that was an "ouch" moment.
o Also, don't forget about Chris Bell's Gay Themes in American Literature (ENGL 376 or CLST 305) Approved for English, LGBT Studies, Women's Studies, and Cultural Studies.
o There will be books raffled off and refreshments served.

o We have unbelievable prizes! The biggest and best prize is a brand new electric guitar and amp from the Guitar Center and we have many other prizes to local eaters around Towson.
Reminder!
This Saturday is Walk Like a Man at 7pm in the CFA Mainstage Theatre. Tickets will be sold that night starting at 5pm and doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 with Student ID and $25 for everyone else. This will be a great show and something you definitely should NOT miss!
"Walk Like A Man - The Play" uses spoken word and dramatic monologue to spotlight labels, issues, and stereotypes in relationships while promoting cultural diversity through theater. Featuring an all-female cast, the play is adapted from the best-selling novel Walk Like A Man by Laurinda D. Brown, which also won the 2006 Lambda Literary Award for "Best Lesbian Erotica." This production discusses adult themes and is for mature audiences only.
