Our icebreaker tonight was an interactive “getting to know you” game.

First on our agenda tonight was the SGA elections portion where we were going to have the two teams speak and take questions, but do to a conflict with SGA and the Elections Commission, the Election Commission resigned. Because of this elections and the debate tomorrow will be postponed. Since everything is in kind of a funk, only one person, Julie Lyst from Team TigerTown, showed up to speak.

QSU Elections

• The following are running:
• President – Theresa Macheski
• Vice President – Brienne Hagen
• Secretary – Bradley Bolin
• Treasurer – Brianna Edwards
• Event Coordinator – Danielle White
• All of these candidates are running unopposed, however there will be a “write in” spot on the ballot if you choose to run last minute next Tuesday when we host elections.

QSU Advisor

• The QSU Exec Board has came to the conclusion that Chris Bell, the previous Advisor, did not have the QSU’s best interest in heart anymore. Due to some past actions committed by Chris, we as Exec Board asked Chris not to come back next year. He appeared to be on the same page and agreed that would be best.
• Santiago Solis has offered to finish out the remainder of the year as the Advisor for QSU.

Tabling!!

• Wednesday from 10:30- 2:30 (tomorrow)
• On the first floor of the Union
• Interested in helping out? Just show up anytime!

• Interested in reading one? Or reading your own?
• Please stop by the Rainbow Lounge between 10am – 11:50 am on Friday to so a sample reading.
• If you are not interested in reading your own monologue and have not previously told Theresa that, please e-mail her tmache1@towson.edu and let her know.
• This is really just a management thing, we want to know approximately how much time it will take readers to read. Please show up if you can. If not e-mail Theresa tmache1@towson.edu and tell her how long it will take you to read and if you need anything specific.

Towson Gay Pride Week

·        Monday: gay? fine by me.  Shirts will be handed out at 9:30am under the lecture hall AND Movie night!

·        Tuesday: gay? fine by me.  Shirts will be handed out at 9:30am under the lecture hall AND the regular meeting AND Coming Out Monologues @ 7pm in Linthicum 200

·        Wednesday: gay? fine by me.  Shirts will be handed out at 9:30am under the lecture hall AND the Drag Show @ 8pm in the Chesapeake Rooms

·        Thursday: Hate Crimes Awareness Under lecture hall AND Candle light Vigil @ 8pm

·        Friday: Day of Silence Field Day and BBQ
