Center for Student Diversity The Division for Student Affairs upholds and supports the mission of Towson University. The division is learning oriented, student-centered in all of its functions and dedicated to the creation of an environment that promotes the on-going development of the whole person: intellectually, emotionally, physically, creatively, ethically and socially. We strive to promote and model ethical behavior in all of our programs, services and decisions. Through growth oriented experiences and services, both within and outside the classroom, the Division for Student Affairs collaborates with the university community in facilitating the total life-long educational development of its students. In all our endeavors, we respect, the diversity of our student population and support the dignity and uniqueness of each individual.

Counseling Center The Counseling Center supports the primary mission of the University, to develop the intellectual potential of every student.  To succeed academically as well as in life, students need a variety of personal and social skills. We provide a variety of counseling services to students. The Center is a resource to the university as a whole, providing programs, training, teaching and consultation to students, faculty and staff.  Students of all kinds visit the Counseling Center. Some are overwhelmed by problems and use our help to persist in school, while others are doing well already and use our services to develop their whole potential.  We can help students turn difficulties into opportunities for personal growth and improved self confidence.  Our services are confidential and there is no fee for most services.

Housing and Residence Life The Department of Housing & Residence Life at Towson provides housing and educational opportunities for approximately 3,430 students living on-campus. We will work to develop residential environments that foster academic and personal growth in diverse living communities.
