The requirements
for the Bachelor of Arts degree mirror those for the
Bachelor
of Science degree, but Bachelor of Arts candidates must
also complete a foreign language through two intermediate
(200) level courses (or one upper/300 level equivalent).
This
requirement may be met by doing one of the following:
Completing two or more years of the language in high school plus
intermediate levels I and II in college
Completing the elementary- and intermediate-level courses of the
language in college
Successfully completing one term of any course beyond the intermediate
level
or
Successfully completing a Unit for Prior Learning Exam in any language
offered at the 301-302 level at Towson University administered each November
by the Department of Modern Languages
