Special Permissions
Some courses require departmental approval to register, these are identified by the notation such as "Department Consent Required" and other notes in the Class Schedule. The department that offers the restricted class issues a Special Permit slip to qualified students.
On the permit slip will be a Permission Number. The number should appear on the special permit slip in the space titled CALL NUMBER (on the older forms) or SEAT CODE.
The Towson Online Services system will require you to enter the Permission Number if you are attempting to register for any restricted classes. Without the number, you will see an "Errors Found" message on the Add Classes screen after you Submit your add requests.
