Alicia Settineri

Alicia Settineri is currently a senior majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. She has been a member of the SBA since 2004, and was currently elected president this year. She has had previous experience interning at Giants Stadium in the stadium operations department, as well as for the Baltimore Ravens in the marketing department. Alicia is currently a building manager in Burdick Hall at Towson University, and does promotional work on the side for MASN.

I joined the Sport Business Association my freshman year in 2006. After the first semester I was asked to be a part of the Executive Board in a new position they created, Board Member at Large. After my freshman year I was elected Vice President. The Sport Business Association has given me many opportunities to volunteer in the sports field and helped me become an intern for the Baltimore Ravens.

Matt Little

My name is Matt Little, and I am currently a Junior at Towson University. I am majoring in Sport Management and minoring in Business Administration. In addition to my role as the Treasurer for the Sport Business Association, I am also involved with the Student Government Association as the Director of Athletics, serve on the Intercollegiate Athletics Committee, and am involved with the intramurals program at Towson University. Also, I helped plan the 2007 Towson University Sport Business Conference, and I am in the process of helping to plan the 2008 Towson University Sport Business Conference.

Outside of Towson University, I have served as a marketing assistant with the Baltimore Ravens and currently intern with the Ravens in their Game Day and Event Operations department. In addition, I have interned with the Baltimore Orioles in their Community Relations department.

Works for Campus Recreation Services and interned with the Connecticut Sport Management Group. Helped in the planning of the Towson Sport Business Conference and the LEADStrong Half-Marathon. Has been a member of the SBA since 2006, is an avid runner, and favorite sport is soccer.

Phil is a senior pursuing a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. He was a general member of the Sport Business Association since 2006, until recently joining the Executive Board. Phil has been a member of the planning committees for Towson's first and second Sport Business Conferences. He has also interned for the Baltimore Ravens and Towson University's Athletic Department.

My name is Jon Paul Pace and I am a sophomore at Towson University. I live in Manhasset, New York and am currently majoring in Sport Management. My goal in the sport business world is to one day work for the New York Mets.

Mike Hollis

Michael Hollis is a junior majoring in sport management with a minor in business. He recently completed an internship this past summer as the Game Operations Intern with the New Jersey Jackals, a minor league baseball team. Michael has been involved in many different aspects on campus including being the manager of Towson’s men’s basketball team, a member of the SBA, a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, an active participant in intramurals. He also took part in Towson’s 1st ever Sport Business Conference where he was responsible for developing and creating programs and pamphlets which were distributed amongst all the attendees.

Michael is a Sophomore at Towson Universtiy, and is a Sport Management major. He is from Cliffwood, New Jersey. He is a member of Towson's club tennis team. Also he is a brother in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Michael's ultimate goal for his career would be to work for a Professional Football team in the NFL.

Dr. Jessica R. Braunstein

Assistant Professor, Sport Management

Dr. Braunstein teaches undergraduate courses (Sport Management and Sport Marketing) within the Sport Management program offered in the Department of Kinesiology and a graduate course (Strategic Sport Marketing) in the UB/Towson MBA Program. Additionally, Dr. Braunstein is a coordinator/instructor for the Sport Management international initiative, developing a short-term study-abroad program in Italy (Sport Business in the Global Marketplace) for both undergraduate and graduate students. She is also the advisor for the Sport Business Association, Towson University’s Sport Management student organization. Prior to Towson, Dr. Braunstein taught classes in Sport Management and was the practicum coordinator at the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL), including Administration of Sport and Introduction to Sport Management.

Dr. Braunstein’s research interests focus on consumer behavior in sport, specifically examining the use and effectiveness of athlete endorsers, brand personality, and the internal and external motivating factors regarding spectator consumption. Her research has been published in the Sport Management Review, International Journal of Sports Marketing & Sponsorship, Journal of Contemporary Athletics, and Sport Marketing Quarterly. Recently, Dr. Braunstein and her classes have worked with the Baltimore Ravens and US Lacrosse.

She has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences including the North American Society for Sport Management, the Sport Marketing Association, the International Conference on Sport and Entertainment Business, the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance, and the Florida Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Sport.
