Description
The student interns for this position will work independently as well with one of our counselors during the three stages of client interaction with the SBDC:
  1. Pre-assessment to determine where client should be, i.e. training, one-on-one counseling, referral elsewhere.
  2. Counseling services, i.e. research, development of financial projections.

In order for the intern to effectively assist an SBDC counselor, a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 30 hours a week of student intern time would be required. Considering the constraints on each student’s time, there could be more than one intern assigned to a location.
