Executive Cabinet and Committees

Director Applications are now available for the 2012-2013 academic year. Please read the descriptions below and if you have any questions contact Chief of Staff-Elect Kennard Wallace with any questions. Towson University's Student Government Association has five committees that aim to further our work in a variety of fields.  These committees are headed up by Directors, who are members of the SGA President's cabinet.  The overall goal is to make a TU student presence felt in the many facets of college life - whether it's on campus or in Annapolis; in the classroom or in the community.  If you have any concerns or are interested in find out more, please find contact information through any of the links below.

In addition to these committees, we have Directors whose work reaches other areas of the student experience.

Director of Campus Activities

Nick Jones is in charge of the Campus Activities Board (CAB). CAB is responsible for planning dozens of campus events including the Friday Night Live series, the Homecoming concert, and TigerFest. If you have any questions or are interested in getting involved with CAB, please contact Nick at Njones9@students.towson.edu.

The Student Government Association is committed to hearing the voices of different segments of our student population, as the legislation we vote on often impacts certain groups specifically. For this reason we have five representatives whose work is increasingly important to the SGA's business.

Greek Life Representative

John Prindeville, is the official liaison between the SGA, Towson's many fraternities and sororities, and their councils. If you have any questions regarding Greek life contact John at

Sports Clubs Representative

Peter McHugh , the SGA's Sports Club Representative, makes sure that the interests of Towson's many sports clubs are being represented.  If you have any questions or want to find out more, you can contact Peter at Pmchug3@students.towson.edu

Commuter Student Representative

This position is currentl vacant but it usually held by the President of the Commuter Student Organization, represents Towson's wide commuter population.  If you have any questions or concerns on topics ranging from parking to commuter resources, please contact the SGA at SGA@towson.edu .

Resident Student Representative

Sean Phelan, who is also the President of the University Residence Government, is in the SGA to represent the thousands of students who live on campus.  Feel free to contact him about anything ranging from any concerns you may have as a resident to useful resident resources at Sphela1@students.towson.edu.
