Mission Statement
The mission of the Civic Engagement Committee to make sure that is SGA is considering civic engagement in everyday funding. The committee will oversee activities involving both social events and green initiatives. The goals of the Civic Engagement Committee are to oversee Freedom Square, to develop green developments and to allocate the SGA Green Fund.

Current Projects

Project Green Challenge- Project Green Challenge is a nationwide challenge that students throughout high schools and colleges are taking part in. It is a 30 day challenge where you will receive a daily email between October 1 and October 30 with a daily “green” challenge that applies to the lives of students. New Recycling Program in Susquehanna- Look out for the new recycling program in Susquehanna! There are guidelines about each recycling bin and trash can as well as volunteers to help show you the new program! Now you will be able to recycle more and waste less!
