Jennifer Langdon, Ph.D.

Jennifer Langdon is a scholar-practitioner of conflict resolution, specializing in restorative justice and applications of mediation in the criminal justice system. Her primary goal as a teacher is to help students connect theory to practice through experiential learning and community involvement. Jen is a devoted community leader herself. She is the co-founder and Board President of the Conflict Resolution Center of Baltimore County and a co-founder of the Circle for Restorative Initiatives for Maryland.


Jennifer has been teaching courses in the Criminal Justice concentration since Spring of 2001, joining the department full-time in Spring of 2005. She earned a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution in January 2007 from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (ICAR) at George Mason University.
