CYRUS CHESTNUT
& THE CYRUS CHESTNUT TRIO

Friday, June 29, 7:30 p.m.
Internationally renowned jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut brings his jazz trio to Towson University for one performance. The Peabody Preparatory and Berklee College of Music graduates’ professional career has included performing with every major jazz performer from Dizzy Gillespie to Brandford Marsalis.

FORBIDDEN BROADWAY – SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT

Saturdays, June 30, 7:30 p.m.
Forbidden Broadway - Special Victims Unit is New York’s longest running musical comedy revue. The show has won Drama Desk, Obie and Outer Critics Circle Awards. The cast of Broadway characters presents the scathing homage to Broadway’s biggest shows and brightest stars includes the puppets of Avenue Q, the witches of Wicked, Robert Goulet in La Cage aux Follies, Billy Joel’s Movin Out and more.

SINATRA, BENNETT & ME
Starring Michael B. Levin
Stephens Hall Theatre
Sunday, July 1, 3 p.m.
Sinatra, Bennett & Me starring Michael B. Levin creates the inspiration of the era of “Old Blue Eyes” for one performance. He has headlined and shared the stages in Las Vegas and Hollywood with Donna Summer, Jeff Foxworthy, Paul Rodriguez and others.

THE CAPITOL STEPS

Thursday, July 12, 7:30 p.m.
The Capitol Steps have been entertaining audiences with their political satire for the past 26 years. They’ve been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS and can be heard on National Public Radio.

SANKOFA DANCE THEATRE

Friday, July 13, 7:30 p.m.
Based in Baltimore, Sankofa Dance Theater is a national non-profit arts organization established to promote authentic African art forms through dance, music, folklore and crafts. The company performs with dramatic music, lighting and costumes.

ELVIS 30TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE
Starring Chris MacDonald
Stephens Hall Theatre
Saturday, July 14, 7:30 p.m.
Chris MacDonald brings back the magic of the King of Rock-n-Roll with an Elvis 30th Anniversary Tribute. MacDonald has performed in Branson, Mo. and Las Vegas, Nv. as Elvis. The performance includes Elvis’s extensive repertoire spanning the 50s through the 70s.

REMEMBERING BING
Starring Jamie Zemarel
Stephens Hall Theatre
Sunday, July 15, 3 p.m.
The tributes continue with the concert Remembering Bing starring Jamie Zemarel as Bing Crosby who reminiscences about his 51 year musical career. Zemarel, backed by at sextet of musicians, performs some of Bing’s greatest hits including White Christmas.

JEWSICAL! THE MUSICAL

Originally directed by one of Second City’s found members, Sheldon Patinkin, Jewsical! The Musical is a hilarious look at Jewish life and culture. The professional ensemble includes the comedy world’s best and brightest.

THE FOUR BITCHIN BABES®: HORMONAL IMBALANCE

TAP KIDS

Eight of the nation's most talented young tap dancers take to the stage in this rousing celebration of American youth culture. Since its debut at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in 2002, the show has enjoyed success across the country and abroad, thrilling audiences of all ages with their incredible talent and fierce passion.

AN ENCHANTED EVENING: THE MUSIC OF BROADWAY
Starring Lee Lessack and Joanne O’Brien

Sunday, July 22, 7:30 p.m.
An Enchanted Evening: The Music of Broadway starring Lee Lessack’s and Joanne O’Brien present an evening of music spanning six decades of the best of Broadway. This concert of romance and memories from the Great White Way includes enduring classics by Rodgers and Hammerstein to contemporary hits by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Tickets are $10 for children and under 12 and $24 to $36 and are available from the Center for the Arts Box Office located at the corner of Osler and Cross Campus drives.
