Student Activities seeks to positively transform the student experience for every student. We believe that a sense of belonging and involvement transforms a student's collegiate experience and facilitates their success.

We offer a wide array of experiences and intentional programming in the following areas.

Leadership Development

Leadership development is a cornerstone of the TU student experience and involves integrity, self-awareness, and vision for creating change well beyond the classroom. Student Activities offers a variety of engaging leadership development programs throughout the year.

Student Organizations

Student organization involvement is one of the easiest ways to build community and find a sense of belonging on campus. There are over 200 registered student groups that range in categories from art, to political, cultural, and everything in between. Resources for student organizations can be found here.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the representative governing body of the undergraduate student population. Working jointly with students, faculty, staff, administration, and advised by Student Activities, the SGA is dedicated to improving students’ academic, social, and cultural environments.

Campus Activities Board

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a group of students, advised by Student Activities, that hosts events year-round for all students. With the slogan "Work hard, play harder," CAB works to provide students with fun, social experiences every week.

Student Involvement FAQ's

All students are invited to participate in events held by our department; occasionally, an RSVP is required to attend an event. 

The Student Activities Office employs approximately 20 undergraduate staff members and four graduate assistants who serve in various roles to support events, leadership development, marketing, and SGA elections. Hiring for each role typically takes place in May for the upcoming academic year. Any job postings available can be found on Handshake by searching "Student Activities."

Upcoming events can be found on Involved@TU, TU's platform for managing campus involvement. Events can be found by clicking the "Attend Events" box in the middle of the homepage. Be sure to sign in with your TU credentials to see all events.
