Our club represents the
Actuarial Science and Risk Management program within the
Department of Mathematics at Towson University. We work
to promote the program to new students, as well as
provide academic support and networking opportunities to
current members. You are not required to be in the

The Association of Towson Composers has been established to focus the concerns of the music composition students at Towson University. The Association serves as a collective voice in affairs that concern all student composers. The ATC is a collective body made up of all students enrolled and working toward degrees in composition through the music department at Towson University. The ATC has no size limit and membership is automatic upon acceptance into the composition degree program of the music department.

Economics Society is a society for Towson University students
who are Economic majors, considering enlisting in the major, or
just interested in economics. Our purpose is to create a
closely-knit network for people interested in Economics while
providing them with academic, professional, and social
activities. We wish to build up interest and camaraderie among
economics students, and to make available resources that will
help you get the most out of the department’s offerings. We
meet at least once a month throughout the semester.

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) upholds the mission of
academic excellence at Towson University and provides a
vehicle for graduate students to express their needs,
concerns, and ideas. The GSA provides grants
year-round to help defray costs for graduate students who wish to pursue research, attend a conference, or give a presentation. Graduate students are encouraged to apply for these grants. The GSA represents graduate student views on various university-wide committees, and distributes a newsletter that addresses various topics specific to the graduate student. Graduate student fees fund the GSA, therefore all graduate students automatically become members. We aim to educate students about the field of audiology outside
the classroom, and help build relationships between students and

NSSLHA aims to educate students about the field of speech-language pathology outside the classroom, as well as help build relationships between students and faculty, students and professionals, and students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. NSSLHA also offers numerous service events for its members, which help raise money for departmental scholarships and the TU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic.

opportunity to apply classroom concepts in real-world
investment through managing a portfolio presented annually
to the TU Foundation. “The Broker,” a stock simulation game,

activities that allow students to gain more knowledge about
the finance field.
