Commuter Services Ride Board
What is it?
Campus Life offers this free listing for students seeking others to
share their day-to-day ride, travel time and expenses. Towson University does not
screen, qualify, verify or otherwise accept responsibility for listings
provided through this free service. Individual persons are responsible for
meeting potential ride sharers in order to determine acceptability. We
also reserve the right not to post items submitted that we conclude are
misleading to students.
How does it work?
The list is
available online, by coming in to the office or by visiting the Commuter/Off
Campus Housing Information Area on the first floor of the University Union.
The board has three types of listings:

Local Travel Listing- (Pink) is for short-distance
or irregularly scheduled travel within the same day

Extended Travel Listing- (Blue) is for long-distance
or irregularly scheduled travel extending beyond one day

Car Pool Listing- (Green) is for regularly
scheduled, round-trip, daily travel over a period of time

To use the listing, simply fill out the appropriate form.
Completed forms may be e-mailed, faxed or
brought in person to the office and the information will be posted as soon
as possible. Generally, the listing is updated once per week. As long
as space permits, your listing will be included for 30 days. If you wish to have
your posting continued for another 30 days, please contact the office to request
additional time. We reserve the right not to post information that is
incomplete and/or misleading.

If you have found a compatible ride share, please call Campus Life,
410-704-2332 to have your listing removed. Calls made after 5 p.m. may be
left on the office voice mail. Your listing will not immediately be removed,
so your patience is appreciated if you receive calls in the meantime.
