Off-Campus Relations

Towson University recognizes that it exists within the Greater Towson Community comprised of over 25 neighborhoods and several businesses. Students transitioning to off-campus living are advised to become familiar with the long-standing neighborhoods and the accompanying associations around the perimeter of TU's campus.

Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) acts as a liaison between TU students and the Towson Community to increase communication and enhance Town-Gown relationships. The university works closely and meets regularly with the Greater Towson Council of Community Associations (GTCCA), Towson Chamber of Commerce, and the Baltimore County Government to collaborate on topics related to community news and events, legislation, safety, alcohol abuse, and disorderly behavior. The overall goal of the partnership is to maintain and enhance quality of life for the entire Towson Community .
