Current Chapter Conduct and Disciplinary Status

(As of May 20, 2015)

Alpha Epsilon Pi, Fraternity

University Charge Date: November 5 and November 11, 2013

Endangering conduct that imperils or jeopardizes the health and safety of any person or persons,

incuding oneself (x2)

Violation of published institutional regulations and policies (hazing policy)

The possession or use of alcoholic beverages in the following manner: by any person under 21 years of age; or,...a person 21 years of age or older purchasing for, serving to, or otherwise distributing alcohol to any person who is under 21 years of age.

Sanctions include:

Suspension from Towson University through the fall 2015 semester.

Prior to return, the natioanl office of Alpha Epsilon Pi must meet with the Associate V.P. of Student Affairs to discuss plan for return.

Upon return, the chapter must score at a “Bronze” level or better in the Towson University Chapter Assessment Program (CAP) for the first two semesters back after the national office recruits new members during their re-colonization efforts.  Please go to www.towson.edu/gogreek for more details about the program. Should the organization be able to return following the period of suspension, the organization will be placed on University Probation and Social Probation for a period of 1 calendar year starting at the time of re-recognition.

Charge Date: April 15, 2015

D. Prohibited Conduct

Student Conduct 10/ Intentionally or recklessly damaging, destroying, defacing or tampering with university, public or personal property of another.

Sanctions Include:

University probation through the Fall 2015 semester.

Update new member program by May 15, 2015

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

University Charge Date: January 22, 2013

Student Conduct/12. Violation of published institutional regulations and policies

Sanctions Include:

Suspension from Towson University through the fall 2015 semester. 

Upon return, the chapter must score at a “Bronze” level or better in the Towson University Chapter Assessment Program (CAP) for the first two semesters back after the national office recruits new members during their re-colonization efforts.  Please go to www.towson.edu/gogreek for more details about the program. Educational task: risk management program on how to host a party by May 13, 2015 (jointprogramdesiged with national office)

Lambda Chi Alpha, Fraternity

University Charge Date: October 31, 2014

The possession or use of alcoholic beverages in the following manner: by any person under 21 years of age; or,...a person 21 years of age or older purchasing for, serving to, or otherwisedistributingalcohol to any person who is under 21 years of age.

Sanctions include:

Suspension from Towson University through the fall 2016 semester.

Lambda Theta Phi

Fraternity and Sorority Life Charge Date: January, 2015

Failure to obtain a "Bronze" level or better in the Chapter Assessment Program (two semesters in a row). In additon, chapter never handed in accredidation packet. Chapter also failed to maintain/recruit 5 members in a one year period..

Sanctions include:Revocation of university recognition. National office must apply, after a year, to gain recognition on campus.

 

Pi Kappa Alpha

Charge Date: April 8, 2015

D. Prohibited Conduct

Student Conduct/2c. Off campus disorderly & disrupts others in the community
Student Contuct/12. Violation of published institutional regulations

Sanctions Include:

Univerity Probation through the spring 2016 semester.

Educational task due September 4, 2015. Collaborate on a risk program with BCPD andTUPDon laws and ordinances that affect off campus students.
