Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The Interfraternity Council is the local administrative body composed of one delegate from each NIC fraternity chapter on campus. IFC consists of 11 men’s national/international social fraternities and promotes opportunities for leadership and involvement in various philanthropic, academic, social, athletic, and community service activities. Panhellenic Association (PHA)
Panhellenic Association is the local administrative body composed of one or more delegates from each collegiate chapter of a NPC sororities on campus. The Panhellenic Association is comprised of eight (8) women’s national/international social sorority chapters. Panhellenic engages in philanthropic, academic, social, and community service endeavors throughout the year. A cooperative spirit and emphasis on teamwork are two key characteristics of this group. National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
The NPHC is the governing council for seven historically African-American fraternities and sororities on campus. The member chapters of this council work to encourage high scholastic achievement, service to the community, promote unity, develop leadership skills, enhance the educational and social life of minority communities, and provide a forum for addressing items of mutual concern.

Unified Greek Council (UGC)
The purpose of Unified Greek Council is to enhance sisterhood, brotherhood, service, fundraising, educational and the individual success of its member sororities and fraternities through experience, leadership, and maintenance of council membership guidelines. UGC will be committed to advocating for the needs of its member organizations and for the Towson University community. The council will also continue to enrich the college experience among Towson university students. Through the trademarks of character, leadership, values and recruitment, the member organizations will advance to exemplify unity, and promote unity on this campus.
