HOW IT WORKS: Professors receive free home delivery of the New York Times Monday through Friday during the semester. The New York Times is available for students to pick up Monday through Friday at nine locations across campus. Professors can choose to incorporate the newspaper into courses however they see fit. to “TimesSelect” for students, faculty and staff
- This is a new
resource that allows access to all New York Times articles
online, award-winning Times columnists, articles
running from 1851 onward, early access to Sunday articles,
personalized e-mail alerts, and more. New York Times sponsored “Times Talk” sessions- The NY Times sponsors free pizza for monthly lunch roundtable discussions of recent articles. Sessions are typically facilitated by a faculty member, and are open to students, faculty and staff. New York Times Speakers- Journalists from the New York Times will come to campus to speak on different themes. Arrangements can be made for speakers to meet with groups of classes before addressing the entire campus. Previous New York Times Speakers:
