New York "Times Talk" Lunches-
Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in monthly discussions surrounding recent New York Times articles.
There is FREE pizza and give aways to go along with great
discussion, facilitated by a guest host. NY Times Talks are
designed to promote open discussion about current events and
issues.
There are three simple rules for participants:
- Bring an open mind
- Be respectful of others
- PARTICIPATE! - and offer different perspectives
Purpose:
- Increase campus dialogue and awareness surrounding
current events and important local, state, national and
global issues
- Promote deliberative and respectful debate in which
members of the campus community feel comfortable sharing
their views and widen their perspectives through interactive
discussion
- Increase student-faculty interaction outside of the
classroom

* Donations for the campus-wide Stuff-A-Bus campaign
will be accepted at this event!
Please bring a new unused toy to be given to
needy children through Toys for Tots and/or a
canned/boxed food item for the Maryland Food Bank
for the hungry in our community.
