Video activism brings real issues to light. The Festival
offers a selection of innovative and meaningful work
done by area students. Films screened include the work
of students from the Department of Electronic Media and
Film at TU; Kids on the Hill, a Baltimore City after
school program; Baltimore City's Digital Harbor High
School; and Wide Angle Youth Media.
The
Festival was developed through a partnership with Towson
University, Kids on the Hill and Digital Harbor High
School that brings students together to discuss how
media can be used to raise social awareness about
community, national and global issues. This partnership
fosters interaction between high school and college
students who share a passion for film.
This event is free and open to the public.
