Constitution Week

Constitution Day is the day the U.S. Constitution was originally signed by the Constitutional Convention delegates at the Philadelphia State House in Philadelphia, on September 17, 1787. While recognizing Constitution Day is actually required by the federal government, the department of Civic Engagement chooses to engage in a week of Constitution-related activities each September to promote awareness of the document that lays the foundation for U.S. democracy.
