Widget Request Process

Widgets are small calendars that can be embdeded to a department or organizations webpage to show specific events for specific time periods. Widgets can display events for a specific department, group, or even building over a customizeable period of time. Please follow the procedure below to request a widget.

1. Contact Greg Primrose (information below) to initiate the request and discuss widget options. If you already know what you are looking for; the following information will be needed.
   1. URL of page widget to be placed on.
   2. Location on said page.
   3. Filtering criteria (Department/Organization/Venue) etc
   4. Time period desired for events to show (in days)
   5. Do you wish to see all instances of a recurring event or only the next one set to occur?
2. Once reviewed, the code will be generated and sent to web development.
3. Web development places the code and completes the process.
