The Office of Judicial Affairs is located
in the Administration Building, Room 236

The primary function of the Office of Judicial Affairs is to implement the Code of Student Conduct in order to assure standards of acceptable behavior that protects students' health, safety, welfare, and property. In so doing, the Office of Judicial Affairs maintains proper procedures for judicial hearings and for the appeal process.

Responsibilities of the office staff include interviewing and advising parties involved in disciplinary proceedings; selecting, supervising, training, and advising student judicial aides and the hearing officer; reviewing the decisions of the hearing officer and recommending sanctions to the Vice President for Student Affairs; informally resolving cases not referred to university hearings; maintaining all student disciplinary records; monitoring and suggesting revisions in student conduct policies; assisting in the creation of community service sanctions designed to promote student moral development; facilitating student appeals; and serving as a resource to faculty and staff regarding student misbehavior.
