The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is housed in Cook Library and provides Student Computing Services (SCS) including:
Free use of computers & software programs in the Computer Lab. Workstations are available on a walk-in basis.
Technical support and troubleshooting assistance to students experiencing problems with their accounts or students who need advice on how to best accomplish particular computing tasks.
Training and consulting services including workshops on the campus standard applicaiton and systems. For assistance contact the SCS Service Desk.
TU Onecard
The TU Onecard serves as your student identification card on campus. The Onecard provides you with access to:
Library privileges at Cook Library
Use of the university's athletic facilities
Free or reduced-priced tickets at Towson University cultural and athletic events
Access to recreational facilities
Your Onecard includes your 7-digit Towson ID number. To obtain a Onecard, go to Auxiliary Services to have your photo taken. You will be asked to present proof of identity. You can obtain your Onecard during the ISSO orientation. For more information visit the Onecard website.
On–Campus Student Employment
Students in F-1 student status are legally able to work during their exchange. Work authorization is limited to oOn-campus (TU) employment only. Students may not exceed 20 hours of work per week during Fall & Spring semesters.
Textbooks are not included in the TU Partner Exchange Agreement. You can choose to buy used books rather than new books as a way to save money. Both new and used textbooks are available for purchase at the University Bookstore or through other vendors (internet, etc.).
