Airport & Ground Transportation Information
- The Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) Airport is located near Baltimore. Due to its proximity to the Towson campus, it is highly recommended that students fly into this airport.
- For information on how to travel from BWI to Towson, read Traveling to Towson and BWI's website information about ground transportation from the airport.
- The two major airports in Washington, D. C. (Washington/Dulles Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport) are located more than one hour by car from Towson. Travel to and from these airports is accessed through one of the most congested highway systems in the U. S. You should know that it can be both timely and costly to travel from Washington, D. C. to Towson.
- Another airport alternative is the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), located 1.5 hours from Baltimore.
